noob r33 driver

hi to all i know this is a noob question but i just bought my first turbo car witch is a R33 the only thing is i haven't registered the car in my name yet and i'm under 25. i'm not sure what the law states but if i put the car in my fathers name will cops still have a go at my if im driving it/ or take it off me?

if you're hooning they'll take it off you, regardless if its jesus' car or yours.

Why would you register the car in your fathers name? Insurance reasons? This doesn't make any sense. If the car is yours and you will be the only one driving it then it should be registered and insured in your name....

hundreds of turbo skyline p platers are insured...and has anyone heard of ppl's claims being denied due to power to weight and being turbo? if so which insuro companies are they with?
